General Purpose:
coordinate patient care with physician (MD,DO) / non-physician provider (PA,NP), give medication pursuant to physician/ non-physician provider order and assists with administrative/ front office duties that facilitate patient care

Key Competencies:
Solid data entry as we are a (mostly) paperless office
Knowledge of medical coding, medical issues and terminology
Computer skills including knowledge of relevant software
Excellent planning, organizing and communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability and customer service
Sound problem solving and decision-making skills, confidentiality, integrity and stress tolerance

Physical Demands:
Work may require sitting, standing, and/or walking for long periods of time; also stooping, bending, and stretching. May view computer screens for long periods of time. Occasionally moving items no more than 25 lbs. Work will also require typing and use of telephone, copier, fax, and other office equipment as necessary
